NuSil® specialty silicone polymers and silicone catalysts for high-purity silicone systems
NuSil’s specialty polymers and catalysts are high-purity components specifically made for creating unique silicone compounds. Our materials can be used for a variety of applications with specialized features, such as fuel resistance, high temperature performance, optical coupling and low volatility. NuSil offers functional silicone polymers for formulating addition cure and condensation cure silicones.
Our line includes:
- Functional polymers: Our portfolio offers both hydride and vinyl functional polymers. Vinyl functional polymers are available with dimethyl, phenyl and fluoro pendant chemistries and can be customized to meet specific requirements.
- Catalysts: We also offer platinum catalysts for addition-cure reactions that are compatible in different silicone polymer compositions, such as diphenyl and dimethyl.
- Inhibitors: Our competitive and fugitive inhibitors control the cure rates for high or low temperature curing systems.
