Anti-MAGOH Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-MAGOH Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

MAGOH, belonging to the mago nashi family, is a component of a splicing-dependent multiprotein exon junction complex (EJC) deposited at splice junction on mRNAs. The EJC is a dynamic structure consisting of a few core proteins and several more peripheral nuclear and cytoplasmic associated factors that join the complex only transiently either during EJC assembly or during subsequent mRNA metabolism. Core components of the EJC functions to mark the position of the exon-exon junction in the mature mRNA and thereby influences downstream processes of gene expression including mRNA splicing, nuclear mRNA export, subcellular mRNA localization, translation efficiency and nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD). MAGOH regulates the transcriptional activation of STAT3 by interfering complex formation between STAT3 and a core EJC component Y14.

Anti-EIF4A3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-EIF4A3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Proteintech

EIF4A3 is a component of the exon junction complex (EJC), which assembles near exon-exon junctions of mRNAs as a result of splicing. EJC proteins involves in postsplicing events, including mRNA export, cytoplasmic localization, and nonsense-mediated decay. Its RNA-dependent ATPase and RNA-helicase activities are induced by CASC3, but abolished in presence of the MAGOH/RBM8A heterodimer, thereby trapping the ATP-bound EJC core onto spliced mRNA in a stable conformation. Besides, it involved in translational enhancement of spliced mRNAs after formation of the 80S ribosome complex and binds spliced mRNA in sequence-independent manner, 20-24 nucleotides upstream of mRNA exon-exon junctions

Anti-CASC3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (FITC (Fluorescein Isothiocyanate))

Supplier: Bioss

The multiprotein exon junction complex (EJC) is deposited on mRNAs upstream of exon–exon junctions as a consequence of pre-mRNA splicing. In mammalian cells, this complex serves as a key modulator of spliced mRNA metabolism. MLN51 is a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein that is overexpressed in breast cancer. The function of MLN51 in mammals remains elusive. Its fly homolog, named barentsz, as well as the proteins mago nashi and tsunagi have been shown to be required for proper oskar mRNA localization to the posterior pole of the oocyte. Magoh and Y14, the human homologs of mago nashi and tsunagi, are core components of the exon junction complex (EJC). The EJC is assembled on spliced mRNAs and plays important roles in post-splicing events including mRNA export, nonsense-mediated mRNA decay, and translation. Human MLN51 is an RNA-binding protein present in ribonucleo-protein complexes.

Anti-SRPK2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody (HRP (Horseradish Peroxidase))

Supplier: Bioss

SRPK2 belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. It phosphorylates RS domain-containing proteins, such as SFRS1 and SFRS2 on serine residues. It has a role in spliceosome assembly and in mediating the trafficking of splicing factors and appears to mediate HBV core protein phosphorylation which is a prerequisite for pregenomic RNA encapsidation into viral capsids. SRPK2 highly expressed in brain, moderately expressed in heart and skeletal muscle and at low levels in lung, liver, and kidney.

Anti-UPF3B Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-UPF3B Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

UPF3B is part of a post-splicing multiprotein complex involved in both mRNA nuclear export and mRNA surveillance. The protein is one of two functional homologs to yeast Upf3p. This protein binds to the mRNA and remains bound after nuclear export, acting as a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein. It forms with Y14 a complex that binds specifically 20 nt upstream of exon-exon junctionsThis gene encodes a protein that is part of a post-splicing multiprotein complex involved in both mRNA nuclear export and mRNA surveillance. The encoded protein is one of two functional homologs to yeast Upf3p. mRNA surveillance detects exported mRNAs with truncated open reading frames and initiates nonsense-mediated mRNA decay (NMD). When translation ends upstream from the last exon-exon junction, this triggers NMD to degrade mRNAs containing premature stop codons. This protein binds to the mRNA and remains bound after nuclear export, acting as a nucleocytoplasmic shuttling protein. It forms with Y14 a complex that binds specifically 20 nt upstream of exon-exon junctions. This gene is located on the long arm of chromosome X. Two splice variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Localized to nuclear speckles and also to the cytoplasm during mitosis, SAP 155 is a subunit of the SF3B splicing factor. The SF3B splicing factor is a U2 snRNP-associated protein complex essential for spliceosome assembly. SF3B contains the spliceosomal proteins SAP 49, SAP 130, SAP 145 and SAP 155. Concomitant with splicing catalysis, SAP 155 is phosphorylated at its N-terminal Thr-Pro dipeptide motifs by Dyrk1A and cyclin E/Cdk2. This modification of SAP 155 is vital for a functional spliceosome as it is an essential event in the basic splicing reaction. Due to alternative splicing events, various SAP 155 isoforms are produced.
