Anti-ZBTB40 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ZBTB40 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

ZBTB40 Antibody: The ZBTB family of proteins is comprised of diverse zinc finger proteins that also contain a BTB (BR-C, ttk and bab) domain. While little is known about ZBTB40, other ZBTB proteins, such as ZBTB4 bind methylated DNA and repress transcription. Single nucleotide polymorphisms near ZBTB40 have been linked to differences in bone mineral density of the hip and lumbar spine, and had a significant association with low-trauma fractures suggesting that ZBTB40 may be involved in bone development and formation.

Anti-ATP5F1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ATP5F1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

ATP5F1 is a subunit of mitochondrial ATP synthase. Mitochondrial ATP synthase catalyzes ATP synthesis, utilizing an electrochemical gradient of protons across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. ATP synthase is composed of two linked multi-subunit complexes: the soluble catalytic core, F1, and the membrane-spanning component, Fo, comprising the proton channel. The catalytic portion of mitochondrial ATP synthase consists of 5 different subunits (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon) assembled with a stoichiometry of 3 alpha, 3 beta, and a single representative of the other 3. The proton channel seems to have nine subunits (a, b, c, d, e, f, g, F6 and 8). This gene encodes the b subunit of the proton channel. This gene encodes a subunit of mitochondrial ATP synthase. Anti-PARL Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-PARL Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

PARL Antibody: PARL is a mitochondrial integral membrane protein and a member of the highly conserved rhomboid superfamily of membrane proteins. PARL is required for the control of apoptosis during postnatal growth and is required for the processing of OPA1, a protein that prevents the release of cytochrome C from the mitochondria in response to apoptotic signals. In lymphocytes and neurons, PARL's association with other proteins, such as the Bcl-2 family-related protein Hax1 and Omi can lead to the proteolytic processing of Omi by PARL, preventing the accumulation of Bax, thereby suppressing apoptosis. Variations in this gene have been associated with increased risk for type 2 diabetes. PARL may also play a role in the progression of Alzheimer's disease through its associations with presenilin-1 and -2. Multiple isoforms of PARL are known to exist.

Anti-HAP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-HAP1 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

HAP1 Antibody: Huntington's disease (HD), a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by loss of striatal neurons, is caused by an expansion of a polyglutamine tract in the HD protein huntingtin. HAP1 was initially identified through a two-hybrid library screening; the binding of HAP1 to huntingtin correlated with the expansion of the polyglutamine tract. HAP1 also interacts with two cytoskeletal proteins (dynactin and pericentriolar autoantigen protein 1), suggesting that HAP1 may play a role in vesicular trafficking or organelle transport. HAP1 is also involved with the huntingtin-enhanced BDNF transport along the cellular microtubles. Attenuation of this process led to the loss of neurotrophic support and neuronal toxicity, which suggests that loss of this function might contribute to pathogenesis. Several alternatively spliced isoforms have been described for HAP1.

Anti-Virus HA Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 1E6A7]

Anti-Virus HA Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 1E6A7]

Supplier: Prosci

Hemagglutinin Monoclonal Antibody: Influenza A virus is a major public health threat, killing more than 30,000 people per year in the USA. Novel influenza virus strains caused by genetic drift and viral recombination emerge periodically to which humans have little or no immunity, resulting in devastating pandemics. Influenza A can exist in a variety of animals; however it is in birds that all subtypes can be found. These subtypes are classified based on the combination of the virus coat glycoproteins hemagglutinin (HA) and neuraminidase (NA) subtypes. During 1997, an H5N1 avian influenza virus was determined to be the cause of death in 6 of 18 infected patients in Hong Kong. The more recent virulent strain of H5N1 is now seen in Africa and Europe, as well as in southeast Asia. There is some evidence of human to human spread of this virus, but it is thought that the transmission efficiency was fairly low. HA interacts with cell surface proteins containing oligosaccharides with terminal sialyl residues. Virus isolated from a human infected with the H5N1 strain in 1997 could bind to oligosaccharides from human as well as avian sources, indicating its species-jumping ability. While efforts were made to use relatively conserved regions of the viral sequence as the antigen, the influenza virus genome has drifted somewhat from what was first reported. However, this antibody was able to recognize peptides derrived from viruses from Indonesian human patients infected in 2007.
