Mouse Recombinant GITRL (soluble) (from HEK293 cells)

Supplier: Adipogen

GITRL (Glucocorticoid-induced TNF receptor ligand) is expressed on dendritic cells (DC), monocytes, macrophages, B cells, activated T cells, endothelial cells, osteoclasts and various healthy non-lymphoid tissues (e.g. testis). GITRL is constitutively expressed and released as soluble form by solid tumors and various hematopoietic malignancies. GITRL causes differentiation of osteoclasts, activation of macrophages, but also alteration of carcinoma and leukemia cells and influences apoptosis. Binding to GITR is important in regulating T cell proliferation and TCR-mediated apoptosis. GITRL is implicated in development of autoimmune diseases and in the immune response against infectious pathogens and tumors.

Mouse Recombinant NAMPT (from E. coli)

Supplier: Adipogen

Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (Nampt; pre-B cell colony-enhancing factor; PBEF; Visfatin) is an adipokine that is localized to the bloodstream and has various functions, including the promotion of vascular smooth muscle cell maturation and inhibition of neutrophil apoptosis. It activates insulin receptor and has insulin-mimetic effects, lowering blood glucose and improving insulin sensitivity. The protein is highly expressed in visceral fat and serum levels of the protein correlate with obesity.

Supplier: Adipogen

CD137 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family. CD137 is expressed by activated T cells, dendritic cells, NK cells, granulocytes and cells of blood vessel walls at sites of inflammation. CD137 has costimulatory activity for activated T cells. Human Recombinant CD279 (from CHO Cells)

Supplier: Adipogen

CD279 (Programmed Cell Death Protein 1; PD-1) is a type I transmembrane protein belonging to the CD28/CTLA-4 family of immunoreceptors that mediate signals for regulating immune responses. Members of the CD28/CTLA-4 family have been shown to either promote T cell activation (CD28 and ICOS) or downregulate T cell activation (CTLA-4 and PD-1). CD279 is expressed on activated T cells, B cells, myeloid cells and on a subset of thymocytes. In vitro, ligation of CD279 inhibits TCR-mediated T cell proliferation and production of IL-1, IL-4, IL-10 and IFN-gamma. In addition, CD279 ligation also inhibits BCR mediated signaling. CD279 deficient mice have a defect in peripheral tolerance and spontaneously develop autoimmune diseases.

Anti-TRAIL-R2 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (ATTO 488) [clone: HS201]

Supplier: Adipogen

TRAIL-R2 is a receptor for the cytotoxic ligand TRAIL. The adapter molecule FADD recruits caspase-8 to the activated receptor. The resulting death-inducing signaling complex (DISC) performs caspase-8 proteolytic activation which initiates the subsequent cascade of caspases (aspartate-specific cysteine proteases) mediating apoptosis. Promotes the activation of NF-kappaB.

Anti-CTRP5 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

CTRP5 (C1qTNF-related protein 5; C1QTNF5) belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. CTRP5 mediates activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in muscle and liver cells, thereby regulating glucose and lipid metabolism. Serum levels of CTRP5 are significantly higher in obese/diabetic animal models compared to normal controls. Furthermore, CTRP5 may be a putative biomarker for mitochondrial dysfunction. Defects in C1QTNF5 are a cause of late-onset retinal degeneration (LORD).

Anti-Progranulin Rat Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

Progranulin (PGRN) is a widely expressed pluripotent growth factor which plays a role in processes such as development, wound repair and inflammation by activating signaling cascades that control cell cycle progression and cell motility. Its function in the central nervous system is of interest, as mutations in the PGRN gene were found in cases of frontotemporal degeneration (FTLD). In addition, PGRN has also been linked to tumorigenesis. Progranulin is a biomarker for FTLD, other types of Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and potentially for MCI (Mild Cognitive Impairment). Additionally, PGRN is described as a new ligand of TNF receptors and a potential therapeutic against inflammatory disease like arthritis.

Anti-Sirtuin Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

Sirtuin-2 is a NAD-dependent protein deacetylase, which deacetylates the 'Lys-40' of a-tubulin. It is involved in the control of mitotic exit in the cell cycle. Furthermore, a variety of age-associated diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis, and Alzheimer's disease are associated with sirtuins. Selective inhibition of Sirtuin-2 achieves neuroprotection and identifies Sirtuin-2 to be a potential therapeutic avenue in Huntington's and Parkinson's disease.

Anti-ST2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

The ST2 gene was originally identified as a gene induced by serum or oncogene expression in fibroblasts. The gene produces a shorter soluble secreted form (ST2) and a longer, transmembrane form (ST2L) by alternative splicing. Soluble ST2 has been shown to downregulate the expression of TLR1 and TLR4. ST2L negatively regulates TLR4 signaling and induces endotoxin tolerance, and enhances Th2 responses. IL-33 is the specific ligand for ST2L.

Anti-TRB-3 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

Tribbles homolog 3 (TRB-3) is a pseudokinase, shown to act as a potent negative regulator of PPAR?, a master regulator of adipocyte differentiation, and to control adipogenesis. It disrupts insulin signaling by binding directly to Akt kinases and blocking their activation. It interacts also with the NF-kappaB transactivator p65 RELA. May play a role in programmed neuronal cell death but does not appear to affect non-neuronal cells.

Anti-RBP4 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

Retinol binding protein 4 (RBP4; RBP) is a 21kDa secreted protein, a member of the lipocalin family and is known as the primary transporter of retinol (vitamin A) to tissues. A recent report revealed RBP4 as an adipokine linking glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) suppression in adipose tissue to insulin. Elevated human and mouse serum RBP4 levels are associated with insulin resistance and its severity, obesity and certain components of metabolic syndrome. Furthermore, human serum RBP4 levels are closely related to renal function.

Anti-IL-33 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Adipogen

Interleukin-33 (IL-33; HF-NEV; IL-1F11), a member of the IL-1 family of cytokines, is expressed by many cell types following pro-inflammatory stimulation and is thought to be released on cell lysis. The 30kDa human IL33 is converted by CASP1 to a 18kDa protein. IL33 binds to and signals through ST2 (IL1R1) and its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK, IRAK4, and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of ERK1(MAPK3)/ERK2(MAPK1), p38(MAPK14), and JNK. The ability of IL-33 to target numerous immune cell types, like Th2-like cells, mast cells, and B1 cells, and to induce cytokine and chemokine production underlines its potential in influencing the outcome of a wide range of diseases, such as arthritis, asthma, atopic allergy & anaphylaxis, cardiovascular disease/atherosclerosis, nervous system diseases, and sepsis.
