Anti-RPLP0 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-RPLP0 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Ribosomes, the organelles that catalyze protein synthesis, consist of a small 40S subunit and a large 60S subunit. Together these subunits are composed of 4 RNA species and approximately 80 structurally distinct proteins. The ribosomal protein is a component of the 60S subunit. The protein, which is the functional equivalent of the E. coli L10 ribosomal protein, belongs to the L10P family of ribosomal proteins. It is a neutral phosphoprotein with a C-terminal end that is nearly identical to the C-terminal ends of the acidic ribosomal phosphoproteins P1 and P2. The P0 protein can interact with P1 and P2 to form a pentameric complex consisting of P1 and P2 dimers, and a P0 monomer. Anti-FCGR3A Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: HO-80]

Supplier: Prosci

It recognizes CD16 (Fcgamma;RIII), the low-affinity receptor for IgG with an apparent molecular weight of 50-80kDa. Two similar genes represent CD16, CD16A (Fcgamma;RIIIA), which exists as a hetero-oligomeric polypeptide-anchored form in macrophages and NK cells and CD16B (Fcgamma;RIIIB), which exist as a monomeric GPI-anchored form in neutrophils. Furthermore, there are two known polymorphisms of CD16B, NA-1 and NA-2. Individuals homozygous for NA-2 show a lower phagocytic capacity compared with NA-1. CD16 binds IgG in the form of immune complexes and shows preferential binding of IgG1 and IgG3 isotypes and minimal binding of IgG2 and IgG4. Upon IgG binding, both CD16 isoforms initiate signal transduction cascades that lead to a variety of responses including antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC), phagocytosis, degranulation and proliferation.

Anti-PRPH Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-PRPH Chicken Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

Peripherin is a ~57 kDa intermediate filament subunit found initially in sensory neurons of the peripheral nervous systems, which gives the protein its name. Subsequently, peripherin was found in some sensory and other neurons of the central nervous system and also in PC12 cells. Peripherin is also expressed in certain neuroendocrine tumors and in the insulin producing cells of the pancreas. Peripherin belongs to the Class III family of intermediate filament subunits which also includes vimentin, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and desmin. In contrast to the neurofilaments, peripherin is strongly up-regulated after nerve injury. Antibodies to peripherin can be used in identifying, classifying, and studying neurons throughout the nervous system. Peripherin is also a good diagnostic marker for ballooned axons seen in Lou Gehrig's disease (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and some neuronally derived tumors. Autoantibodies to peripherin are frequently seen in the sera of patients with diabetes. Peripherin is not related to peripherin/RDS, a protein of the photoreceptor outer membrane mutations of which are causative of certain forms of slow retinal degeneration.

Anti-TBK1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 108A429]

Supplier: Genetex

Nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kB) is a ubiquitous transcription factor and an essential mediator of gene expression during activation of immune and inflammatory responses. NF-kB mediates the expression of a great variety of genes in response to extracellular stimuli. NF-kB is associated with IkB proteins in the cell cytoplasm, which inhibit NF-kB activity. Phosphorylation of I-kB by IkB kinase (IKK) complex leads to degradation of I-kB and activation of NF-kB. The IKK complex contains IKKa,IKKb, and IKKg. A novel IKK related kinase was recently identified and designated TBK1 (TANK-binding kinase 1), NAK (NF-kB-activating kinase), and T2K. NAK/TBK1 activates IKKb through direct phosphorylation. NAK/TBK1is activated by growth factors and PMA and mediates IKK and NF-kB activation in response to growth factors. NAK/TBK1 functions upstream of NIK and the IKK complex. NAK/TBK1 is also critical in protecting embryonic liver from apoptosis.

Anti-MAPKAPK5 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 7H10B4]

Anti-MAPKAPK5 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 7H10B4]

Supplier: Prosci

PRAK (p38-regulated /activated kinase), also referred to as mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK)-activated protein kinase (MAPKAPK)-5, is an ubiquitously expressed serine/threonine kinase regulated by p38beta and p38beta MAP kinases. Activated JNK, p38gamma or p38δ are unable to induce phosphorylation of PRAK in vitro. Phosphorylation of PRAK occurs in vivo in response to p38 activation by stress-related extracellular stimuli including UV light, oxidation and proinflammatory cytokines. Two other substrates for p38, MAPKAPK-2 and MAPKAPK-3/3pK, share approximately 45% sequence homology with PRAK including the phosphorylation motif recognized by p38, Lys-X-Thr-Pro. Activated PRAK has been shown to specifically phosphorylate HSP 27 in vitro, suggesting that the protein may play a role in stress-induced small heat shock protein phosphorylation in vivo.

Anti-CDC6 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: IMD-6]

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

In yeasts, Cdc6 (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) and Cdc18 (Schizosaccharomyces pombe) associate with the origin recognition complex (ORC) proteins to render cells competent for DNA replication. Cdc6 is overexpressed in human cancers, where it has a critical regulatory role in addition to DNA replication. Yan et al. (1998) showed that Cdc6 is expressed selectively in proliferating but not quiescent mammalian cells, both in culture and within tissues in intact animals. During the transition from a growth-arrested to a proliferative state, transcription of mammalian Cdc6 is regulated by E2F proteins, as revealed by a functional analysis of the human Cdc6 promoter and by the ability of exogenously expressed E2F proteins to stimulate the endogenous Cdc6 gene. They conclude that expression of human Cdc6 is regulated in response to mitogenic signals though transcriptional control mechanisms involving E2F proteins, and that Cdc6 is required for initiation of DNA replication in mammalian cells. This antibody is suitable for researchers interested in cancer research and Cell Cycle research.

Anti-DMD Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: DYS-48]

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Dystrophin(DMD) gene has 79 exons spanning at least 2,300 kb (2.3 Mb). The C terminus of the dystrophin protein is encoded by a highly conserved, alternatively spliced region of the gene. beta-dystroglycan binding activity is expressed by the dystrophin fragment spanning amino acids 3026-3345 containing the ZZ domain. DMD transcript is formed by at least 60 exons; the first half of the transcript is formed by a minimum of 33 exons spanning nearly 1000 kb, and the remaining portion has at least 27 exons that may spread over a similar distance. Dystrophin gene is expressed at a higher level in primary cultures of neuronal cells than in astro-glial cells derived from adult mouse brain. overexpression of dystrophin prevents the development of the abnormal mechanical properties associated with dystrophic muscle without causing deleterious side effects. This antibody is suitable for researchers interested in Muscular Dystrophies and Dystrophin-Glycoprotein Complexes and cardiovascular research.

Anti-CD3E Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Prosci

This antibody recognizes the epsilon-chain of CD3 (CD3e), which consists of five different polypeptide chains (designated as gamma, delta, epsilon, zeta, and eta) with MW ranging from 16-28kDa. The CD3 complex is closely associated at the lymphocyte cell surface with the Tcell antigen receptor (TCR). Reportedly, CD3 complex is involved in signal transduction to the Tcell interior following antigen recognition. The CD3 antigen is first detectable in early thymocytes and probably represents one of the earliest signs of commitment to the Tcell lineage. In cortical thymocytes, CD3 is predominantly intra-cytoplasmic. However, in medullary thymocytes, it appears on the Tcell surface. CD3 antigen is a highly specific marker for Tcells, and is present in majority of Tcell neoplasms.

Anti-CD8A Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: CLDA8a-1]

Supplier: Prosci

CD8 is a cell surface receptor expressed either as a heterodimer with the beta chain or as a homodimer. A majority of thymocytes and a subpopulation of mature Tcells and NK cells express CD8a. It binds to MHC class 1 and through its association with protein tyrosine kinase p56lck plays a role in Tcell development and activation of mature Tcells. For mature Tcells, CD8 and 4 are mutually exclusive, so antibody to CD8 is generally used in conjunction with antibody to CD4. CD8a antibody is a useful marker for distinguishing helper/inducer T-lymphocytes, and most peripheral Tcell lymphomas are CD4+/CD8-. Anaplastic large cell lymphoma is usually CD4+/CD8-, and in T-lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemia, they are often co-expressed. It is also found in littoral cell angioma of the spleen.

Anti-EPX Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: AHE-1]

Supplier: Prosci

Peripheral blood granulocytes are classified into neutrophils, basophils and eosinophils according to the staining characteristics of their cytoplasmic granules. Granule proteins are released by physiologic and pharmacologic stimuli and play important roles in both normal and pathological host immune responses. Eosinophil major basic protein and eosinophil peroxidase (EPX) are granule proteins specific to the eosinophil. AHE-1 recognizes human EPX, a granule protein specific to eosinophils. It does not cross-react with eosinophil major basic protein, elastase, cathepsin G, esterase N, thrombin, plasmin, kallikrein, lactoferrin, or transferrin. This MAb stains eosinophils only and does not stain other peripheral blood cells, including platelets, neutrophils, monocytes, lymphocytes or red blood cells. Human EPX gene product can form a tetramer of two light chains and two heavy chains. Other peroxidase family members include myeloperoxidase (MPO), lactoperoxidase (LPO), and thyroid peroxidase (TPO).

Anti-PRF1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: CE2.10]

Supplier: Genetex

Perforin is one of the major cytolytic proteins of cytolytic granules. One of the main pathways of lymphocyte mediated cytolysis entails the secretion onto target membranes of cytolytic granules contained in cytolytic effector lymphocytes of T-cell or NK-cell type. Perforin is a cytolytic mediator and is stored in and released by cytoplasmic granules. Perforin (PRF) is involved in the killing mediated by cytotoxic lymphocytes which represents an important mechanism in the immune defense against tumors and virus infections. Human PRF is a 555 amino acid protein with a 21 amino acid signal peptide. It has a molecular weight of 70 to 75 kD. PRF is a pore forming protein with a mechanism of transmembrane channel formation similar to C9 and homology between perforin and C9 has been demonstrated at their respective functionally conserved regions. Studies show that perforin is expressed only in killer cell lines and not in helper T lymphocytes or other tumor cells tested.

Anti-SORL1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 3B6A9 / 3B6B11]

Anti-SORL1 Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 3B6A9 / 3B6B11]

Supplier: Prosci

SORL1 (sortilin-related receptor, L A repeats containing) also known as sorting protein-related receptor containing LDLR class A (SorLA), is a Type I membrane protein that may be involved in cell-cell interaction. SorLA, a single transmembrane receptor, binds LDL and transports it into cells by endocytosis. SorLA is synthesized as a proreceptor which is processed to the mature form by a furin-like propeptidase. It can also bind to RAP (receptor-associated protein). SorLA is a multifunctional endocytis receptor important in lipoprotein and protease uptake. The N-terminal propeptide, which is removed, can be cleaved by furin or homologous proteases. Endogenous SorLA binds the neuropeptide head activator (HA) and is important for HA signaling and function. The gene encoding for the protein maps to chromosome 8p23.1. SorLA is expressed mainly in brain (cerebral cortex, cerebellum and the occipital pole), but can also be found in liver, spinal cord, kidney, testis and pancreas.

Anti-ACSS2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

This antibody is designed, produced, and validated as part of a collaboration between Rockland and the National Cancer Institute (NCI). ACSS2 (Acyl-CoA synthetase short-chain family member 2) is a protein coding gene encoding a cytosolic enzyme that catalyzes the activation of acetate for use in lipid synthesis and energy generation. This protein acts as a monomer and produces acetyl-CoA from acetate in a reaction that requires ATP. Expression of this gene is regulated by sterol regulatory element-binding proteins, transcription factors that activate genes required for the synthesis of cholesterol and unsaturated fatty acids. This protein is upregulated in many cancers and is important for pro-survival under hypoxic conditions. ACSS2 may be associated with disorders such as Cystoisosporiasis. Anti-ACSS2 Antibody is useful for researchers interested in parasites, intestines, Glucose Energy Metabolism, and AKT research.

Anti-ASAH2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Anti-ASAH2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Supplier: Rockland Immunochemical

Sphingolipids are hydrolyzed by ceramidases to yield sphingosine and fatty acids. These ceramidases are classified according to the pH range that supports their optimal activity. ASAH2 is a neutral ceramidase and key regulator of sphingolipid signaling metabolites at the cell surface, catalyzing the hydrolysis of the N-acyl linkage of ceramide at an optimal pH of 6.5-8.5. ASAH2 is a type II integral membrane protein that can be cleaved to yield a soluble secreted protein and acts as a repressor of apoptosis both by reducing C16-ceramide, thereby preventing ceramide-induced apoptosis, and generating sphingosine. Sphingosine exerts both mitogenic and apoptosis-inducing activities, and its phosphorylated form functions as an intra- and intercellular second messenger. ASAH2 is ubiquitously expressed primarily expressed with higher levels in the intestine, kidney, skeletal muscle and heart. Recent studies indicate that ASAH2 encoded neutral ceramidase is a key enzyme for the catabolism of dietary sphingolipids and regulates the levels of bioactive sphingolipid metabolites in the intestinal tract.

Anti-IGF1R Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 3C8B1]

Anti-IGF1R Mouse Monoclonal Antibody [clone: 3C8B1]

Supplier: Prosci

IGF1R(insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor), a transmembrane receptor tyrosine kinase, is widely expressed in many cell types within fetal and postnatal tissues, and in many cell lines. Upon binding to its ligands, IGF-I and IGF-II, receptor autophosphorylation occurs. The triple tyrosine cluster within the kinase domain (Tyr1131, Tyr1135 and Tyr1136) is the earliest major site of autophosphorylation. Phosphorylation of these three tyrosine residues is necessary for kinase activation.Insulin receptors (IRs) share significant similarity with IGF1 receptors in both structure and function, including an equivalent triple tyrosine cluster within the activation loop of the kinase domain (Tyr1146, Tyr1150 and Tyr1151).Tyrosine autophosphorylation of insulin receptor is one of the earliest cellular responses to insulin stimulation. Autophosphorylation begins with phosphorylation of Tyr1146 and either Tyr1150 or Tyr1151. Full kinase activation requires the triple tyrosine phosphorylation.
