Cell-Chex controls offer spinal and body fluid procedural control for red blood cell and white blood cell counts, crystal identification and white blood cell differentiation
Level 1-UC contains urate crystals, and Level 1-CC contains CPPD crystals to aid in identification of crystals in synovial fluid. The white blood cells can be differentiated when stained in the same manner as a patient sample. The two-level control is assayed for manual cell counting, five-part white blood cell differential and two-part polymorphonuclear and mononuclear differential
Ordering information: Cell-Chex controls maintain a closed-vial stability for 6 months and an open-vial stability for 30 days when stored at 2 to 10°C (36 to 50°F).
