About this item
Spectrin (non erythroid) is a specific marker for human, rat and mouse alpha II spectrin or fodrin. In cerebellar cell cultures, it labels axons and periphery of cell bodies consistent with localization of fodrin. Fodrin, which seems to be involved in secretion, interacts with calmodulin in a calcium-dependent manner and is thus candidate for the calcium-dependent movement of the cytoskeleton at the membrane.
ELISA: Use at a dilution of 1/10^5-1/10^6IF: Use at a dilution of 1/100 - 1/500. IHC-Fr: Use at a dilution of 1/50 - 1/100. WB: Use at a dilution of 1/10^2-1/10^3. Predicted molecular weight: 297 kDa. Not tested in other applications. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
