About this item
The Polypropylene/Polyethylene Separator Depth Filters have outstanding wet strength and can be folded or handled the same as laboratory paper. Because of their material of construction, these disc filters are virtually inert to chemical and biological agents.
- Outstanding wet strength
- High chemical resistance
- Channeling effect
Their high chemical resistance and wet strength ensure stability when filtering concentrated acids, alkalis, or oxidizers.
When used as prefilters in series with submicron membrane filters, the PP/PE depth filters increase the overall filter flow rate by providing a channeling effect for particulate-laden and viscous fluids.
These filters can also be used as separators between stacked discs in a single filter holder during serial filtration. Maximum temperature value represent the value of maximum operating temperature.
Filter media is a blend of Polypropylene and Polyethylene.
