This kit introduces students to the principles of polarization.
- When aligned, the pair of Polaroid Filter Discs will pass maximum light; when one is rotated 90° with respect to the other, no light passes through them
The kit Includes two 5 cm diameter. filter discs with plastic rims, one piece of mica, one glass laminated benzoic acid crystal, one calcite crystal, and instructions with suggestions for use.
