OPTI-GUARD® sets the standard for extremely low impact, easy to use pre-column protection. Designed for use with analytical (Int.Ø: 4.6, 3.0 mm) and narrow-bore (Int.Ø: 2.1, 1.0 mm) columns, the patented floating stem design automatically adjusts to any manufacturer's tube stop depth for a zero-dead-volume connection every time.
- ZDV connection - automatically adjusts to any manufacturer's column
- Requires no extra tubing for connection
- Does not effect chromatography
- No larger than a standard fitting
Connecting the OPTI-GUARD® requires no extra tubing, maintaining the minimal impact philosophy that has made the OPTI-GUARD® line so popular. The guard column traps particulates, solvent impurities, and retained sample components. The ideal guard column should have no effect on the separation. In order to achieve this, a guard column with matching bonded phase and optimal hardware configuration should be selected. Please note, product label colors may differ than what is pictured.
