About this item

One of the best general-purpose buffers for biological research. Excellent for tissue culture, oxidative phosphorylation, protein synthesis with cell-free bacterial systems, photophosphorylation, and CO₂ fixation.

Suitable buffer for TEM studies (Transmission Electron Microscopy) as it does not affect metal substrates. Recommended buffer for the glutamate binding assay, prevents binding to non-receptor materials.
