Optional AxyMat™ silicone sealing mats are autoclavable and freezable. The standard AxyMat™ is pierceable and self-sealing to prevent escape of evaporated aerosols and pathogens during normal use or storage. It also features an alphanumeric grid system that corresponds to 96-well plates. The AxyMat™ septa mat features individual septa to allow easy penetration and to prevent sample contamination and evaporation. It is designed specifically for use with the ABI PRISM® 3100 system.

Half-skirt design with A12 corner notch fits the Applied Biosystems ABI PRISM® 3100 Genetic Analyzer. Ultra-thin walls accelerate heat transfer to provide shorter cycles. All plates are certified by lot number to be RNase-, DNase-, and pyrogen-free.
