Thermowell® GOLD 96-well PCR plates are available in different formats to ensure maximum flexibility and a perfect match for specific applications. The original Thermowell® 96-well PCR plates are universal fit and can be cut into 3×8-well segments.

Polyethylene and aluminum sealing tapes provide optimal sealing to prevent evaporation and allow for oil-free operation when used with thermal cyclers with heated lids. Silicone rubber sealing mats are fully autoclavable and reusable. The 8-well flat cap strips feature an ultra-clear surface ideal for real-time PCR and fluorescent and luminescent applications.

The universal optical sealing tape is pressure-sensitive for effective sealing and features high optical quality for real-time PCR. Tape is also compatible with aqueous solutions and organic solvents. Suitable for use between –70 and 100 °C (–94 to 212 °F).

Manufactured from ultra-pure, medical-grade polypropylene. The molding process is free from lubricants, dyes, and heavy metals or fillers. Uniform wall thinness assures efficient heat transfer while minimizing well-to-well variability. Plates are 100% tested for well integrity and certified DNase- and RNase-free and endotoxin-safe on a lot-by-lot basis.
