These refractometers measure refractive index or Abbe number ([nu]d or [nu]e) at different wavelengths ranging from 450–1100nm for model DR-M2 and DR-M4 and from 450–1550nm for model DR-M2/1550 and DR-M4/1550
For measurement at wavelengths ranging from 681–1100nm using models DR-M2 and DR-M4, the optional near infrared ray viewer is required. Contact your Avantor representative for information.
The units display measurement results on the display.
Ordering information: All units are supplied with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty. Refractometers DR-M2 and DR-M4 are supplied with a test piece (refractive index point), 4mL of monobromonaphthalene, an Allen wrench, a lighting glass, one 589nm interference filter, one 546nm interference filter, 10 tube bands, a spare bulb, and an instruction manual. The DR-M2/1550 and DR-M4/1550 units come with a near infrared ray viewer, mounting adapter and set screw, monochromatic light source device, a test piece (refractive index point), 4mL of monobromonaphthalene, an Allen wrench, a 589nm interference filter, 10 tube bands, and an instruction manual. DR-M4 and DR-M4/1550 also include 4mL of methylene iodide-containing sulfur solution. A calibration certificate and compatible digital printer are available for each unit.
