Capsules are optimized for viscous fluids

Capsules are available with two polypropylene depth media types. Profile™ Star filters feature high area star-shaped polypropylene pleat construction. Profile™ II filters are polypropylene depth filter elements with tapered pores that narrow to an inner (downstream) absolute rated section. These filters provide high capacity for larger solids and gels as well as for fine particles.

They feature a self-venting format, low hold-up volumes, low extractables, low protein binding, high flow rates and throughputs, and broad chemical compatibility. Housing and core/end caps are polypropylene with 13 mm (¹/₂"), acetal hose barb inlet/outlet connection.
