This superior laboratory sieving instrument is designed for fast, precise particle separations.

Sieving action can be varied for different densities and textures of materials. This unit utilizes a vertical oscillating column of air, which prevents particle attrition and screen wear, and a repetitive mechanical pulse, which helps reduce sieve binding and rearranges clustered particles. The Sonic Sifter Separator is easy to use with virtually maintenance free operation. Digital timer ensures repeatable results. Horizontal pulse accessory helps to eliminate agglomeration in extremely fine powders of 45 µm or below.

Sonic Sifter clear acrylic framed sieves have stainless steel wire cloth meeting ASTM E11 sieve specifications. Precision sieves contain electroformed nickel mesh meeting the current ASTM E161 specifications.

Ideal for fine dry particle separations ranging from 3 µm to 5.6 mm. Typical materials for analysis include plastics, mineral products, chemicals, biofuels and additives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, foods, sugar, powdered metals and detergents. The unit accommodates up to 6 Sonic Sifter 3" acrylic sieves or 3 Sonic Sifter 3" precision sieves
