The gentle binding and elution buffers were designed to eliminate the time-consuming step of neutralizing fractions. These buffers can usually dissociate the antigen-antibody interaction efficiently under neutral pH conditions. The mouse mild elution buffer is specially formulated to elute mouse IgG1 from other isotypes. The mild pH (6.0–6.1) allows for up to 26X greater retention of monoclonal activity versus harsher conditions.
