About this item
LabExact® Grade Quartz A is a fine porosity binderless quartz (SiO₂) glass microfiber with a 99.999% efficiency in air filtration for the retention of 2.20 µm particles. This media meets or exceeds the physical, performance, and elemental requirements for EPA PM10, Ambient Air Monitoring methods.

- Tensile strength: 215 g / 15 mm (ASTM D828), MD tensile is 7.3 lbs./in. (TAPPI T494)
- Flow rate: 1.1 - 1.35 m³/min (Resistance 95 mm H₂O @ 10.5 ft/min)
- Effective temperature range up to 1000 °C
- Binderless quartz microfiber
Primarily used in air pollution monitoring, atomic absorption spectroscopy, flame emission spectrometry, and other applications where an extremely critical analysis is needed. Ideal for use in acidic gases (except Hydrofluoric) and aerosols, stacks, and flue gas monitoring. Uniform screen and felt sides with uniform density MD/CD, demonstrates excellent lot-to-lot reproducibility. Manufacturing performed with RO water filtration system.
Packaging: Available in boxes of 25, 50, or 100 filters.
