GelBond Film® is a transparent, flexible polyester film designed to support agarose gels. Gels cast on GelBond® Film remain permanently attached to the film through electrophoresis or immunodiffusion and all subsequent fixing, staining, destaining, and drying procedures.

Gels cast on the film retain their original dimensions during staining and after drying. The orientation can be recorded directly on the film prior to casting to eliminate confusion that can occur during staining and drying procedures.

GelBond® film is designed to be used with agarose gels. GelBond PAG film is designed to be used with polyacrylamide or MDE® gels.
