GN-6 and GN-4 Metricel® membrane filters are made of mixed cellulose esters. GN-6 grids have a unique dot grid pattern that provides easy quantification of bacterial colonies without growth inhibition or enhancement. GN-4 membranes dissolve completely using standard digestion procedures, and clear completely for minimal interference in fiber counting.
