Radiant™ GC-Long Hot start 2X Master Mix has been engineered for the amplification of extremely difficult templates and long amplicons up to 35kb. Radiant™ GC-Long Hot start 2X Master Mix possesses 5´ to 3´ DNA polymerase and 3´to 5´ proofreading exonuclease activities with an error rate of 4.55×10-7. The polymerase is ideal for cloning applications, library construction, screening and genotyping of problematic GC-rich and AT-rich sequences. Radiant™ GC-Long Hot start 2X Master Mix polymerase is engineered for robust, superior high-fidelity PCR in comparison with standard proof-reading enzymes such as pfu DNA Polymerase. Several point-mutations combined with a new-generation buffer formulation provide for significantly improved processivity for faster cycling, greater sensitivity and less inhibition with crude DNA samples.
