Legs are detachable to allow tubes to be easily removed by pushing the rack down onto any surface.
Detachable legs provide two options:
Attach legs so rack stands upright on bench top
detach legs so samples can be quickly popped out by pushing down onto any surface
Caution: Not recommended for autoclaving.
