ASTM Type D durometer is designed to measure hardness of hard rubber, plastics, Formica, Plexiglas®, soft metals, epoxies, nylon, polyurethane, and other similar materials.
Durometers meet or exceed current ASTM D2240 specifications. Accuracy of ±1 point over the entire scale. Durometers feature a maximum hold hand which stops at the peak reading. Carrying case, check block, and instructions are included.
Also measures soft plastics, felt, leather, and similar materials.
