The Compresstome vibrating microtome starter kit includes ten stainless steel blades, ten agarose tablets, one packet petroleum jelly, two plastic tissue pipettes, one super glue, one machine oil (for maintenance), two fine tissue forceps, and five plastic clean-up razors.

The Compresstome VF-800-0Z starter kit includes two tungsten carbide blades, 100 agarose tablets, two super glue, two fine tissue forceps, five plastic clean-up razors, three fine tissue handling brushes, and ten plastic tissue pipettes.
