About this item

The Nageotte hemocytometer is designed to allow users to manually count low leukocyte concentrations, specifically those beyond the capabilities of a standard hemocytometer

The Nageotte chamber is supplied with two reusable coverslips (30x33x0.5mm) and 0.5oz. (approx. 35pcs.) of disposable coverslips (30x33x0.15mm).

Two gridded counting areas are subdivided into 40 rectangular areas. Each of the two gridded areas has a volume of 50µL, for a total volume of 100µL per Nageotte chamber. Accurate measurements can be obtained down to 0.1cell/µL (100cell/mL). Cell depth is 0.5mm. An H-shaped moat separates the two gridded areas.
