HYPE-WIPE® Bleach Towelettes are individually packaged, hospital-grade disinfecting/cleaning towelettes saturated with sodium hypochlorite (bleach) diluted to 0.525%, the 1:10 dilution of bleach recommended by the CDC, OSHA, and NCCLS
HYPE-WIPE® Bleach Towelettes have been approved by the EPA for killing and/or inactivating Clostridium difficile spores (C. difficile spores) on hard non-porous surfaces in a four minute contact time. They are also approved by the EPA to kill these microorganisms: One-minute contact time for Enterobacter cloacae NDM-1, Escherichia coli (ESBL), Escherichia coli NDM-1, Hepatitis B (HBV), Hepatitis C (HCV), Influenza A H1N1 (swine flu), Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP), Klebsiella pneumoniae NDM-1, Multi-Drug Resistant (MDR) Enterococcus faecium, Multi-Drug Resistant (MDR) Staphylococcus aureus, Norovirus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Respiratory Syncytial (RSV), Rotavirus, Salmonella enterica, Streptococcus pyogenes, Tuberculosis – TB (Mycobacterium bovis- BCG), Vancomycin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA); Two-minute contact time for Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Staphylococcus aureus, Vancomycin resistant Enterococcus faecium (VRE); Four-minute contact time for Clostridium difficile Spores (C. diff spores).
HYPE-WIPES® are used to clean and disinfect countertops and laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, analayzers, molecular & DNA testing equipment, and slide prep. Mini towelettes are ideal for cleaning up small spills. Safe for use on hard, non-porous surfaces including plastics, Plexiglas®, glass, glazed ceramic tile, linoleum, baked enamel. For stainless steel: follow equipment manufacturer's directions which may specify that surface be rinsed after disinfection. Note: Solution will corrode aluminum.

Each HYPE-WIPE® consists of a pocket-sized, foil-lined pouch containing a towelette that unfolds to a 6” x 12” size with enough pre-diluted solution to wipe down a 40 sq. ft. area. MINI HYPE-WIPE® Bleach Towelettes unfold to 3” x 3” size. The bleach solution is stabilized for a 12-month shelf life with the expiration date on each pouch and on the outside of each box.
