Ziath DP5 Cube Rack Reader

A compact, versatile, quick and robust scanner with minimal cabling. The cube rack reader is a 2D datamatrix tube camera reader with a scan and decode time of 1 to 2 seconds. The cube can read all racks on the market including cryoboxes and SBS racks; even 384 racks.

This instrument can scan all racks in the SBS format, regardless of the conguration or number of tubes, and by a quick and easy change of mask (included as standard) it can also scan all cryobox formats.

Our new automatic rack type detection feature means that you no longer have to configure the cube for all rack types. Simply place your rack on the scanning window and the software will determine rack type and run the scan - easy.

Compatible with 24, 48, 96, 240, 384 position SBS racks. Compatible with 81, 100, 196 position cryoboxes. Compatible with all commercially available datamatrix 2D coded tubes. Export data as CSV, Text, XLS, XML, JSON, Python, DB, PNG or E-mail. Operating system on host PC: Windows® 10, 11.

With Cryoprotection: Prevents the scanner window from misting when scanning a cold rack from a freeze. The passive technology does not use heat or blown air.
