Cubes have 2 cm(0.78") sides with a hook for density investigation and specific gravity activities. Element stamp indicates material.

Since these cubes are equipped with hooks, they can be easily lifted from water. Additionally, the hooks allow the cube to be easily massed using a spring scale. Cubes have a mass between 50 g and 400 g, so a 5.0 to 1.0 Newton spring scale will work perfectly.
