VWR® Spec-Wipe® 3 sterile wipes are constructed from a non-woven hydroentangled blend of 45% polyester and 55% cellulose. The hydroentangled process produces wipes without the use of chemical binders, yielding a durable wipe that generates less particulation than some other non-woven methods.

VWR® Spec-Wipe® 3 sterile wipes exhibit good absorbency and excellent strength, especially when wet, with low levels of extractables and ionic contamination. The outer bag is designed for easy opening. The wipes are sterilized by gamma radiation and validated per the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) 11137 Guidelines to a 10¯⁶ Sterility Assurance Level (SAL). Each sterile product comes with a lot-specific Certificate of Conformance and Sterility.
