Setting the heat is extremely intuitive with an LED display and control knobs, inputting to a microprocessor-controlled circuit for accurate, stable control of heating.

The hotplate is designed with a powerful 1000 W heater that provides temperatures up to 550 °C. A 'hot' warning will flash if the work plate temperature is above 50 °C. Over temperature protection is included should temperatures reach 580 °C.
