The Transystem™ long swab shafts and shatterproof plastic tube allow for easy access to difficult sampling sites. The tubes are designed to fit conveniently in regular test tube racks, allowing for easy transport and storage. The lot number, expiration date, and product description are clearly marked on every swab package and tube to ensure proper inventory rotation, product traceability, and use within the prescribed shelf life.

Simply uncap, collect, and recap the tube. The swabs are pre-moistened and there are no glass ampules or seals to break, making the product simple, safe, and easy to use. The Venturi Hourglass tube design enhances performance and eliminates undesirable bubbles, breaking in the deep agar gel column, ensuring optimal specimen collection. Ensure media integrity with VI-PACK packaging made from high-tech composite plastic films that retards penetration of atmospheric oxygen preventing dehydration of liquid or agar gel medium. 100% plastic on plastic film eliminates fiber shed, important in surgical settings. All media have been extensively validated and tested for a low bioburden and contain less than two non-viable bacterial cells per 10 high power microscopic fields.
