Investigating life on Earth- a fossil history is designed to help students understand how life has changed over vast periods of geologic time. The colorful wood framed chart allows students to correlate the 21 replica 'fossils' to rock layers illustrated on the chart.

The fossils include both marine and terrestrial life forms from the Pre-Cambrian through the present. Eons, eras, periods, epochs, and years are clearly shown on the chart. The teacher's guide includes classroom activities, pre/post tests, reference materials and a glossary. Grades 5+.
