eStain™ L1 Protein Staining Device, GenScript

The eStain™ is a fully automated protein PAGE gel staining system, which uses Coomassie Brilliant Blue and a patented protein staining technology. The system integrates the traditional three steps of fixing, staining, and destaining into one automated process. It can stain and destain two protein PAGE gels simultaneously in 10 minutes.

The eStain™ system works with all types of precast as well as homemade PAGE gels. Compared with the conventional staining methods, gels stained by eStain™ have crisp blue bands with minimum or no background. The eStain™ also offers superior sensitivity compared to conventional methods and can detect as low as 12.5ng of protein. The shortened workflow increases productivity. This protein staining system combines three steps of traditional Coomassie blue staining method into one single step to greatly reduce the time required for protein staining.

Excellent uniformity and repeatability with either Coomasie Blue and Ponceau S solution.

Ordering information: eStain L1C Staining Kit (Cat No: L00753) contains reagents that are used with eStain L1 protein staining device (L00657). Each kit contains 1 x 2L of staining solution, 1 x 2L of destaining solution, and a pack of filter paper (50 pK).
