A large cast-aluminum top plate provides an even heating surface. Electronic speed control and a bi-metallic thermostat deliver reliable and repeatable results. A powerful heater reaches maximum temperature in minutes. A large magnet provides strong magnetic coupling to the spin bar. Indicator lights illuminate when the unit is on.

A built-in support rod holder with locking knob accepts an optional support rod and clamp kit for mounting thermometers and temperature probes. Dyla-Dual hotplate stirrers have the same features as Dylatherm hotplates with a PTFE resin-coated spinbar.
