The combination of spherical, catalytically active activated carbon with an added catalyst constitutes reliable protection for a downstream reverse osmosis (RO) membrane. The cartridge removes oxidation agents, such as free chlorine and ozone, heavy metal ions, and particulate contaminants from the feed water of the system.

This cartridge is designed specifically for use with arium® comfort I and arium® comfort II systems.
