A recombinant Ebola Zaire GPΔmuc protein (derived from strain Makona) consists of resides 32-309 and 461-628 (MLD residues 310-460 and transmembrane domain downstream of residue 628 deleted) and was produced by insect S2 cells, followed by purification.
