- Highly thermostable Pfu DNA polymerase possessing 3' to 5' exonuclease proofreading activity that enables the polymerase to correct nucleotide-misincorporation errors (1 error per 770000 bp)
- Reformulated buffer system for increased economy with the same high performance as the original Pfu DNA polymerase

Using Cloned Pfu DNA polymerase in PCR experiments results in blunt-ended products, which are ideal for cloning into blunt-ended vectors. Cloned Pfu DNA Polymerase, derived from the hyperthermophilic archaea Pyrococcus furiosus exhibits superior thermostability and proofreading properties.
