Agilent offers in-line filters for selected Shimadzu HPLC systems made from clean, high-quality stainless steel parts, to help prevent time-wasting contamination and blockages.

In-line solvent filters, installed between the LC pump and injector, prevent blockages by removing particles from solvents before they reach the injector
Column inlet filters, positioned immediately before an LC column, remove particles from both the injection system and sample

Column inlet frit contamination can increase backpressure and reduce efficiency, especially in microbore columns.
