Spherical gold nanoshell nanoparticles have a 120 nm silica core with a ~20 nm outer gold shell. Peak absorbance at 980 nm. Provided at 1 mg/ml gold concentration. Used in optical filters, sensing, and photothermal therapies. The carboxyl (lipoic acid) surface provide useful functionalization for conjugation to antibodies.

Each batch is extensively characterized to meet highest quality standards, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. All products supplied with batch-specific COA's with TEM, DLS, Zeta, and UV-Vis.

Colloidal gold has applications in Diagnostics, Lateral Flow Assays, Molecular Detection, Photothermal and Microwave-based Therapies, TEM labels, Nanotoxicology, Plasmonics (SPR / Surface Plasmon Resonance), and novel Color Enhancements and Pigments.
