Spherical gold nanoparticles, 5 nm, Dried, Dodecanethiol surface. Dried NanoXact materials are precisely engineered, unagglomerated nanospheres with narrow size distributions (CV <20%) and are redispersible in a variety of nonpolar and organic solvents. Material is provided as a dried film that can be readily dispersed into solvents such as toluene, chloroform, dichloromethane, hexane, and THF. Sonicate and vortex to resuspend.

Each batch is extensively characterized to meet highest quality standards, ensuring reliable and reproducible results. All products supplied with batch-specific COA's with TEM, DLS, Zeta, and UV-Vis.

Colloidal gold has applications in Diagnostics, Lateral Flow Assays, Molecular Detection, Photothermal and Microwave-based Therapies, TEM labels, Nanotoxicology, Plasmonics (SPR / Surface Plasmon Resonance), and novel Color Enhancements and Pigments.
