HemoRoamXL units are mobile, battery-powered refrigerators which enables the storage and transportation of large quantities of red blood cells, platelets or plasma, units have optional accessories such as battery power, wheels and data management.

These units can be secured with a padlock and can be stacked with stacking corners, they have handles on the side, however are too heavy for a single person to carry. Most customers purchase units together with optional casters or dolly trolley.

Systems have battery power, cold storage for RBC and plasma, ambient temp container for platelets, plus wheels and handle to steer the unit. Transport and store, red blood cells and plasma to operating room, ER, ICU, and labor delivery room settings if transfusions required or for disaster preparedness. Helps to store temperature sensitive products when the electrical power supply is not reliable or dependable.

Certifications: Registered as Class II medical devices with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Class II devices do not require premarket approval submissions to the FDA. Complies with the coldchain protocols of VFC, FDA, CDC, AABB and AATB.
