The medium promotes abundant growth of fastidious microorganisms without the necessity of adding serum and other materials. It may also be used for the rapid determination of the bacteriological quality of water.

• Suited for the cultivation of a broad range of fastidious and non-fastidious microorganisms

Medium contains Casein Digest Peptone: 17.0 g/l, Soy Peptone: 3.0 g/l, Disodium Phosphate: 2.5 g/l, Dextrose : 2.5 g/l and Sodium Chloride: 5.0 g/l.

Suspend 30 g of the medium in one liter of distilled or deionized water. Mix well. Heat slowly until the medium is dissolved. Dispense and sterilze at 121 °C (15 lbs. of pressure) for 15 minutes. Sterilize by autoclave.
