The Never-Lost™ safety cap eliminates cap loss and reduces the risk of injusry. The cap twists and locks into place. This protects users when the blade is not in use and keeps the cap out of the way when cutting. The handle is lightly weighted and balanced, and features a cross-hatched copper grip for superior control.

The 10589 is compatible with a number of different Slice® blade styles (chisels, craft blades, seam rippers), all of which feature a unique finger-friendly® edge. They cut effectively but are safe to the touch. This craft knife ships with a straight-edge, rounded-tip blade. As with all Slice® safety blades, it is non-sparking, non-magnetic, chemically inert, and will never rust. The craft knife with safety cap weighs approximately 21g.
