Micronic sample storage tubes are available in three different codings for sample traceability. Coding options include non-coded, alphanumeric, and tracker 2D barcoded. Micronic laser encrypts the solid polypropylene code area, guaranteeing the highest resistance to solvent attack and wear. Tracker barcodes are fully integrated into the tube's surface, so the code will not fade or peel over time. An entire line of Micronic barcode readers and scanners are available to assist with tracking and organizing sample data.

Micronic screw cap tubes are also compatible with micronic TPE caps. Screw cap tubes are ideal for ultra-low temperature storage (–180 to 121 °C). Double rings at the top interior of standard tubes securely hold TPE caps in place and prevent popping during freeze/thaw cycles. Screw caps are available in twelve different colors for differentiation, and TPE caps are available in twelve colors. Micronic LoBo and RoBo racks feature 'Twist-Lock' wells, to prevent tubes from turning while screw-capping or decapping.
