The StrataPrep plasmid preparation kits provide a rapid method for purifying plasmid DNA from bacterial cultures.

The kit utilizes a special silica-based fiber matrix technology in a microspin-column format to capture DNA in the presence of a chaotropic salt, allowing the recovery of exceptionally clean DNA.
