These Chesapeake stirrer bearings are designed for stirring at atmospheric and high pressures, and at vacuums from 10 to 6 mm Hg.

The bearing assembly consists of a glass adapter with a Standard Taper joint and PTFE parts including sleeve, bearing body, saddle O-ring, top screw, lock nut, and fiber washer. The design eliminates any glass-to-glass or metal-to-glass contact. Glass stirring shaft (LG-9501) and PTFE blade (LG-9510T) are sold separately.
