SOC is a nutritionally rich medium used to grow recombinant E.coli

• Dissolve 32.6 grams per liter of water to reconsitute
• Autoclave to sterilize
• Ambient shipping conditions
• Store at room temperature

Ingredients: 2.0% Tryptone (20 g/L), 0.5% Yeast extract (5.0 g/L), 10 mM Sodium Chloride (NaCl), 2.5 mM Potassium Chloride (KCl), 10 mM Magnesium Chloride (MgCl₂), 10 mM Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO₄) and 20 mM (0.36%) Glucose (Dextrose) (3.6 g/L).

SOC is the same as SOB, with the addition of Glucose.
