These tubes use medical-grade polypropylene to provide resistance against a centrifugal force as high as 30000×g.
- Flat top with marking space
Tubes feature a marker, or notch, on the flange of the tube, which helps position the tube during centrifugation. The silicone rubber O-ring is resistant to pressure and is suitable for storage in liquid nitrogen (vapor phase) or a deep freezer.

Caution: Store liquid nitrogen in the vapor phase for safety reasons. In the liquid phase, liquid nitrogen may flow into the tube, resulting in tube rupture and the nitrogen spatter during defrosting. Wear a face shield, protective clothes, and gloves when handling liquid nitrogen for defrosting.
