About this item
An optimized, complete system for the production of full-length cDNA from low amounts of total RNA.
- Robust: Produce full-length cDNA >15 kb long
- Sensitive: Synthesize cDNA from picogram amounts of starting total RNA
- Flexible: Includes both random nonamer and oligo-dT primers
- Complete: Includes all components necessary as well as the RiboGuard™ RNase Inhibitor to protect your RNA before reverse transcription and increase cDNA yield
This kit is used for first-strand cDNA synthesis which can be followed by PCR or qPCR
The MMLV Reverse Transcriptase 1st-Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit produces full-length first-strand cDNA from total cellular RNA preparations or purified poly(A) RNA.
This complete kit includes the same MMLV High Performance Reverse Transcriptase that is available as a stand alone reverse transcriptase and maintains all the same high performance characteristics as that enzyme.
cDNA synthesized with this kit is useful for a variety of downstream applications including (i) RT-PCR validation of gene expression data obtained from microarray or next gen sequencing experiments, and (ii) RT-PCR validation and quantification of gene silencing by RNA interference.
