Stationary Baskets and Felodipine Quadrangular Baskets are used with the Paddle Method (APP 2). They are suspended from a special vessel cover (bath specific- see QLA vessel cover page) at a precise distance from the paddle shaft and 1 cm above the paddle. They offer an alternative solution to capsule sinkers for problems associated with floating, sticking and swelling dosage forms. Suitability for certain applications must be verified.
